Weathering means adding realistic effects to models, such as sand on tank treads or muddy rally car bodies. Weathering Master comes in a convenient package with 3 colors and a special applicator. Should be applied to a directly painted model to achieve effects such as rust, soot, mud, snow, etc.

Tamiya has specially created Weathering Master G Sets for use on human figure models. The pigments allow for easy reproduction of human skin tone gradation effects, and the different shades allow for both highlighting and shading. The G Set includes shadow-oriented colors (salmon, caramel and dark chestnut).
