TAMIYA 1/48 RUSSIAN HEAVY TANK JS- 2 1944 (32571)

The Russian JS-2 heavy tank was built to counter the German Tiger I. The JS-2 went into production in December 1943 in the second half of World War II. It had a long, powerful 122mm gun and excellent armor. As of August 1944, the hatch on the front hatch was removed, which greatly improved frontal protection. The JS-2 was produced at the Chelyabinsk Kirov Factory (KhKZ) and proved effective as a "breakthrough" tank, as well as against German armored forces. Tamiya's 1/48 scale model faithfully reproduces the details of this iconic World War II machine.

Plastic model to be glued together by the Japanese company Tamiya. Kit does not include glue or paint.
